* New in our collection, welcome cloths On a summer day, exactly in between rainy days, wedding planner Sharona van Wijk - @sharonavanwijk organized a beautiful styled shoot at Op't Eiland - @opteiland. A beautiful secluded location (yet close to Amsterdam) on the water with a beautiful greenhouse for the wedding dinner. Jos and Marlous shine in white and blue among all the greenery that this location offers. The details for this wedding, the cards, menu cards, the welcome cloth, the flowers, Jos' suit, the donuts, the van and much more were all coordinated in blue.
*wedding dress @uniquebridesbymatty suit @pakkend Upstairs in the restaurant was a nice location where the hair and make up are done by @naturalbijanouk. While this is happening Marlous is wearing a nice kimono from @aimyourwedding with 'bride to be' on the back. For example, no make-up or hairspray can get on the dress yet. Then of course comes 'the' moment. The dress goes on. Here Anouk helps to put on the dress, but at a 'real wedding' this is often the mother or sister of the bride or a good friend.
I think this is one of the most beautiful moments at a wedding. The moment the groom and bride meet for the first time at the wedding, you can choose to do it the American way at the ceremony. But you can also enjoy a quiet moment here before the ceremony for two or a small group. Watch this moment in the video at the bottom of this page. Goosebumps moment!
After this romantic moment, it is time to enjoy a little while longer on a boat to the place of the ceremony where the bridal couple will meet the wedding guests.
The ceremony is held on the terrace overlooking the water. Babs Annet @trouwenmetannet.nl really gets to know the couple to give a beautiful personal ceremony that you will remember.
